Vodka Gummy Bears

First item Complete!

Since I read about Vodka Gummy Bears, I've always wanted to make them. I thought it would be a good place to start on my bucket list because it is something I can do at home and I had a party this week so it was good to make them for that.

This is the Recipe I used to make the vodka gummy bears:

You need:
Vodka
Gummy Bears
Glass container with lid or Cling film

1. Put the gummy bears inside the glass container.
2. Pour the Vodka over the top so it is just covering the sweets. This makes the taste of vodka noticeable but there is no burning sensation in the back of the throat.

3. Cover the container with the lid or the cling film and put it into the fridge.
4. Leave them in the fridge for around 3-5 days. They should absorb most of the alcohol.
5. The Bears should get slightly bigger but not by much.

I left them for about two days. From the recipe I found online, it said leave them for about 3-5 days. I would suggest leaving them in for longer than two days because the Vodka hadn't soaked through to the middle and the middle was still hard.
I filled the bowl up so that the gummy bears had been completely drowned in the Vodka. Like the recipe said, there was a visible Vodka taste but no burning. I would definitely suggest that you should make some Vodka gummy bears if you enjoy sweets and alcohol.

My warning would be is that you shouldn't eat too many if you're drinking as well because the sugar and Vodka together will get you drunk a lot quicker.
Enjoy!

Thank you for reading!
